It does emphasise dry patches a little, but that’s true for any foundation stick but I do think that the formula might be a little too creamy for those with oily skin.

My favourite method of blending is with a dampened beauty sponge as I find it helps the foundation stick to mesh with the skin a little better. The stick has a creamy consistency which is easy to blend with both a makeup brush and a blending sponge.

I do add a little bit of the Revolution Pro Lightening Drops just to make sure I don’t get any noticeable lines but I do feel like ColourPop have room to go lighter within their ‘fair’ shades.
Shade wise, 07 N isn’t the worst shade match for me and whilst unblended it does look a little orange, it blends into the skin nicely without looking too dark. For $10 you get 9.5 grams of product which is generous considering Revolution only give you 6.2g inside their Fast Base Foundation Stick. I really like how detailed the shade descriptions are as they make choosing a shade online a little easier, but I still wasn’t sure if the ‘fair’ category of shades was fair enough of my skintone. The foundation is $10/8, and I chose shade 07 N which ColourPop describe as being a “neutral foundation with light peach undertones for fair skin tones”. The ColourPop No Filter Stix Foundation is available in a total of 30 different shades, which are broken down into six shade categories: Fair, Light, Medium, Medium Dark, Dark and Deep Dark.
I ordered the ColourPop No Filter Stix Foundation as I’d heard really great things, and whilst stick foundations aren’t always the best where dry skin is concerned, ever since I discovered the Hourglass Primer Serum, I’ve enjoyed experimenting with more matte foundations.
